Former Yankee Alex Rodriguez and businessman Marc Lore are new minority owners for the Timberwolves working towards taking over the team from current owner Glen Taylor.  

Lore comes to the team with ambitious goals for the franchise which match his ambitious goals outside of basketball. He's worked in e-commerce for places like Walmart and Jet.com, and has a project in the works to build 'a city of the future'.
