Sandie Zimmerman grew up in a conservative Christian home in a predominantly Catholic and Jewish neighborhood in Philadelphia, where she developed a strong spiritual foundation from an early age. She attended a private Christian academy and was raised in a church that emphasized the biblical importance of Israel, the Jewish people, and the enduring relevance of both the Old and New Testaments.

Those early influences helped shape a lifelong passion for understanding the Hebraic foundations of the Christian faith and helping others discover the rich biblical context that connects the Old and New Testaments.

Sandie is a conference speaker, Bible teacher, and Rebbetzin who, alongside her husband, Rabbi Jack Zimmerman, helped establish and serve Tree of Life Congregation in Phoenix beginning in 2000. Over the course of more than two decades of ministry, Sandie also led the Ruth and Naomi Women’s Ministry, encouraging and equipping women in their faith and understanding of Scripture. She and Rabbi Jack concluded their pastoral leadership at Tree of Life Congregation in 2026.

Her desire to deepen her understanding of the Jewish roots of the Christian faith has led her to participate in numerous conferences and Yeshiva classes through the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America, as well as studies through the Center for Judaic-Christian Studies, where she had the privilege of sitting under the teaching of the late Dwight Pryor.

Sandie is especially passionate about teaching on the Biblical Feasts and their connection to Revelation, the concept of the “Ruth-Like Church,” and the Ancient Jewish Wedding and its powerful biblical imagery. Through these teachings, she brings historical and Hebraic context to Scripture in a way that helps believers see familiar passages with greater depth and understanding.

Sandie and her husband, Rabbi Jack Zimmerman, make their home in Phoenix, Arizona. Together they have three children—Jordan, Ryan, and Casey—and are blessed with four grandsons: Avi, Leo, Eli, and Ira.
