Athlete chat with Aussie Sharks Captain Aaron Younger

View descriptionShare

From growing up around Olympians at his local pool in Bicton Baths, Aaron Younger's talent and determination has seen him soar to captain of Australia's Olympic water polo team.

While the 29-year-old has been playing in Europe for the last 10 years, he started off as a footy player, but in his words he 'wasn't fast on land'.

The Aussie Shark told Ben and Mark, while the European leagues tend to dominate - because they're fully professional players - he works well with his Aussie teammates, and this year, the Aussies are hungry for a win.

All that, plus why he wants to see more support for his sport.
