The Atlanta Dream had a chance to take Game 1 of the WNBA Finals, but Golden State closed out a 68–64 win. So how did Atlanta let it slip away—and how much credit belongs to the Valkyries’ defense, depth, and late-game execution?

Trysta and Sarah break down Angel Reese’s quiet second half, Atlanta’s fourth-quarter scoring drought, and the questions around Rhyne Howard’s role in the offense. They also give Gabby Williams her flowers, debate Natalie Nakase’s coaching and rotation options, and react to Angel’s postgame press conference.

Plus: Renee Montgomery’s dual role as an Atlanta Dream owner and TV analyst, player injuries to watch, and why the hosts worry this Finals matchup could be a tough first impression for new WNBA viewers.
