This March Madness gave us everything… except good basketball.

We were on the ground in Fort Worth for the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight — and what we saw didn’t match what you expect from March. Missed layups, low-scoring games, weird energy, and stretches that just didn’t feel like high-level hoops.

And it wasn’t just one game — it was everywhere.

We break down:

Why so many games felt off in person
The shooting drop-off and ugly possessions
What we saw inside locker rooms (and why Notre Dame felt different)
LSU vs Duke chaos + THAT ending
Why the Final Four might be great… but also feels predictable
And whether this is actually good for the game

This is everything you didn’t see on TV.
