This episode of NewsRadio 840 WHAS is a thought-provoking discussion about the intersection of technology and society, with a dash of humor and a healthy dose of skepticism. The speaker dives into the world of AI, where a recent incident involving the Anthropic Claude model accessing a paywall on the Georgia Secretary of State's website has left many questions unanswered. The conversation touches on the implications of autonomous AI, the importance of transparency, and the need for critical thinking in journalism.

The speaker expresses frustration with the lack of in-depth reporting on this story, highlighting the need for curiosity and follow-up questions in journalism. They also share a personal anecdote about a Kentucky hero, Christine Lake, who bravely confronted a gunman at her school, and use this as a springboard to discuss the importance of being prepared and having a plan in place for emergency situations.

The conversation also delves into the topic of school safety, with the speaker arguing that having trained and armed staff members on site could be a game-changer in preventing or responding to violent incidents. They share examples from other states where teachers are allowed to carry firearms and highlight the benefits of having a trained and designated response team in place.
