- Megan McLoughlin, dressage rider who lives with a vision impairment, invited all to Dressage in the Dark, 2nd July Lyrical Acres 183 Dawkins Road, Lewiston SA at as part of Disability Pride Month.
- Nathan Pepper updated us on the SANFL Apm Employment League, AFL wheelchair and blind and low vision competitions.
- Dr Kari Seeley, CEO for No Strings Attached, was very excited about their season of “Hamlet: The Loneliest” at Slingsby's Hall of Possibility, rear of 96 Glen Osmond Road. Audio Described: Saturday 27th Auslan interpreted Sunday, 28th June.
- Pam Mitchell, Resident Counsellor, spoke about change.
- Alice Rolls, SA Minister for Domestic, family and sexual abuse, and child protection, talked about the Lived Experience Advisory Group, (LEAG) that is being formed - a response to one of the recommendations from the recent Royal Commission.
- Josephine Nicholls's son Nic was diagnosed with a brain tumour leading to Brain Wave coming into being. 30 years later Nic's well and Brain Wave is making a real difference to many other families who are going through what Jo; Nic and their family went through.
- Paul Bird is the author of “Be The Change” a book detailing how; why and what you should know before donating.
