Maurice Klein speaks with Sharon Kuper, who along with Simonne Wine was the driving force behind the successful Put The Greens Last campaign in the recent Prahran District by-election in Melbourne, resulting in the Liberal candidate Rachel Westaway being elected to the Victorian State Parliament.  We hear how not long after the Prahran by-election was announced, Sharon had discussions with Roz Mandelle co-founder  of the nascent Queensland Jewish Collective, which formed the first Third Party Campaigner, achieving success against The Greens in last year's October Queensland State election. Sharon and Simonne then swung into action canvassing and harnessing financial support and volunteers to mount the grassroots campaign against the Israel hating Greens in the Prahran by-election. With Simonne running and being one of the administrators of the J-UNITED Facebook page, this was one of the starting canvassing points for support and volunteers to join the campaign, which then progressed to WhatsApp pages.   Joining the campaign were members of the Hindu, Iranian and Christian communities who have been very supportive of the Jewish community and Israel. Sharon, tells us how the ADVANCE Organisation, Advance Front and Centre - an independent movement, has been very supportive of and joined the Put The Greens Last Campaign, which is now continuing full steam ahead into the soon to be Federal election in May, focussing on Macnamara, Goldstein, Kooyong and Melbourne electorates.
