Morry Frenkel speaks with Sandra Bourke, spokeswoman for the conservative lobby group, ADVANCE, about her reasons for becoming involved in politics, and the organisation’s campaign both in the recent Prahran by-election and the federal election. Advance’s Put the Greens Last - Not This Time campaign aims to alert the public to the ‘dangerous and divisive policies’ of The Greens, as well as their turning a blind eye to terror and antisemitism following the horrors of October 7, 2023. Sandra explains why the seat of Macnamara is ‘ground zero’ in the upcoming election and also talks about the need for ‘influencers’ to be transparent and accountable when being paid to support particular party lines. She also reflects on voters’ asking AI to “advise” on preferencing in their electorates. An opportunity to reply was offered to Adam Bandt MP Leader of The Greens, but no response has been received by the time of the broadcast.
