Maurice Klein speaks with Ramona Chrapot, the social media officer at the Zionist Federation of Australia which in partnership with the Jewish Agency of Israel organised a week-long delegation of Australian Jewish youth leaders to visit Israel. Leading the mission, we hear from Ramona about the mission's visit to the October 7 devastated communities in Israel's south and to the Nova Festival massacre site, needless to say totally impactful along with the mission's visit to new Hostages Square in Tel Aviv, meeting and speaking with family members of the 134 hostages still in Gaza captivity. The mission met with leaders, communities and Israelis from all walks of life, who have united and come together to support each other and Israel through yet another threatening existential war that Israel must defend and prosecute for its continued survival and that of the Jewish people.  The very important experience and messages that Ramona and the youth leaders returned to Australia with are that we as Jews in Australia who are also now in a war, a war of anti-Semitism, are to be standing tall and proud as Jews and Zionists in support and advocating for Israel.
