Rabbi Menachem and Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Haller – The power couple behind Chabad Dingley Village

View descriptionShare

Maurice Klein speaks with Rabbi Menachem and Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Heller, co-directors of Chabad Dingley Village a suburb in the south-east of Melbourne. For many different reasons, we hear how increasing numbers of the Melbourne Jewish community are choosing not to reside in the central bagel/cholent belt, hence the need for Chabad Dingley Village becoming central and supporting a growing Jewish community in Dingley and its surrounding suburbs. With the founding principle that regardless of the level of observance of the Jewish people in the community Chabad Dingley is their home, and has successfully provided Jewish education, customs and positive Jewish experience in an innovative setting where everyone is and feels welcome.  We hear how in just a few years, Rabbi and Rebbetzin Haller have successfully established Chabad of Dingley Village, an expanding community with much Jewish warmth and growth.  Bless them and Yasher Koach to Rabbi and Rebbetzin Haller with their wonderful mission.
