Maurice Klein speaks with Jemma Cher, a gifted Melbourne vocalist who brings maturity, sophistication, and dazzling virtuosity to each and every performance. At only 22 years old Jemma carries many years of stage experience which has shaped the artist she is today. Jemma won the 2014 "Sing Loud" competition under the auspices of Reconciliation Australia with judges Delta Goodrem and Gurrumul. This experience introduced Jemma to the unifying power of music and its effect on people. Jemma's unique vocal abilities, which include a large vocal range, her effortless tone and deep control bring something special to her Jazz, Gospel, Soul and R&B genres.
