Emily describes day-to-day life there in the months prior to October 7th, how her and her family’s world was turned upside down with the aftermath of the horrors of that day, and the reporting in Israeli media of the rise in antisemitism in Australia. She also talks about the mixed feelings following the recent attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities and infrastructure.
