Maurice Klein speaks with Eddie (Mr Jewish Movies) Tamir, JIFF artistic director about the Jewish International Film Festival (JIFF) 2024 which commences on October 27th at the Classic Cinemas in Elsternwick; and hitting the big screens thereafter in all the capital cities. Showcasing the best of Jewish themed and Israeli films from the Jewish diaspora, we heard from Eddie that the program launch movie “White Bird” received a unanimous vote of approval, with people deeply affected, moved and loved with fantastic word of mouth and presales having gone through the roof.  We heard from Eddie that after watching a few hundred movies JIFF 2024 will be screening an impressive selection of films. The JIFF opening night movie will be followed by an interview that Eddie had with Jesse Eisenberg who wrote, directed and stars in that movie.
