Maurice Klein speaks with Dean Hurlston, State Director for Allies for a Strong Australia.  Dean outlines how Never Again Is Now that was founded by Mark Leach, has now morphed into the grassroots movement Allies for a Strong Australia, having chapters in New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australian and Victoria, with strong interest now in South Australia and Tasmania, for the continued planed nationwide expansion in every electorate. With the Bondi slaughter the wake-up call for all Australians, together the Allies for a Strong Australia are taking a stand against antisemitism that is plaguing Australia and hate. Social cohesion is under severe strain with our democratic values being tested. Allies exists because Australia needs people who are prepared to stand up, speak clearly, build friendships, defend community cohesion, support the Jewish community and others subjected to hate, by strengthening the values that keep Australia, safe, free and united. The Allies chapters are local teams of committed Australians who meet regularly, welcome new supporters, run community events, support rallies, build bridges with churches and faith communities and help turn the shared conviction of social cohesion into practical values and action.
