Maurice Klein speaks with Anthony Gafin, co-president of ZDVO (Zahal Disabled Veterans Organisation) - Beit Halochem (House of Warriors) Victoria and National vice-president, supporting Israel's injured soldiers and victims of terrorism. We hear from Anthony how since October 7 there has been close to a twenty percent increase, to 60,000, in the number of disabled ZDVO members with serious physical injuries and debilitating PTSD now requiring support. Anthony details how when and every time an Israeli soldier or victim of terrorism is injured, ZDVO - Beit Halochem with four rehabilitation centers in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa and Be'er Sheva (Ashdod to open 2025) is there to help on their road to recovery, caring and supporting them to be productive members of Israeli society and helping these brave men and women to come to terms with physical injuries as well as the psychological scars that many will face for the rest of their lives.
