Morry Frenkel speaks with A/Prof David Slucki, director of the Australian Centre for Jewish Civilisation (ACJC) and Loti Smorgon Associate Professor in Contemporary Jewish Life and Culture, at Monash University, about the formulation of a definition of antisemitism adopted recently by Universities Australia. David also describes research projects he is leading, aimed at furthering the understanding of antisemitism in the Australian context, the training of scholars who will become a new generation of specialists in antisemitism, and an important study with co-lead investigator, Dr Susan Carland, designed to ultimately improve on-campus life for all students.
