Larry O'Connor is back with another thought-provoking episode of O'Connor and Company, diving into the world of politics, entertainment, and current events. This time around, he's joined by Esther Wells, the Republican nominee for Montgomery County Executive in Maryland, who shares her vision for restoring good governance and attracting high-income earners to the county. They discuss the challenges of one-party rule and the importance of fiscal discipline in county government.

The episode also touches on the topic of mental health, with a discussion about the Chicago mayor's new policy of replacing police with crisis mental health counselors. Larry is joined by Jason Johnson, the president of the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund, who raises concerns about the safety of responders and the potential for violence in situations where law enforcement is not present. They also delve into the issue of pharmaceuticals and their role in exacerbating mental health crises.

Meanwhile, Senator Ron Johnson joins the show to discuss the COVID-19 pandemic and the need for a COVID reckoning. He shares testimonies from families who suffered during the pandemic, highlighting the neglect and abuse of patients' rights. The senator emphasizes the importance of holding those responsible accountable and ensuring that such atrocities don't happen again.

In other segments, Larry discusses the UK's handling of a recent terror plot, the Islamification of Europe, and the importance of securing Britain's borders. He's joined by Niall Gardner, a foreign policy analyst and expert on the UK, who shares his insights on the situation. The episode also features a discussion about the upcoming midterm elections, with a focus on the disconnect between the media's narrative and the reality on the ground. Kurt Schlichter, a senior columnist at Town Hall, joins the show to share his thoughts on the election and the importance of staying focused on the issues that matter.
