Peggy Flanagan is Tim Walz's lieutenant governor and the Democrats' new Senate nominee in Minnesota — and in her first round of national interviews she threw Walz straight under the bus over the fraud scandal, saying "the buck stops with him" and "more should have been done sooner." She was then asked twice whether there should be any age limit on gender-affirming care for a ten-year-old, refused to answer, dodged whether she wants to abolish ICE, and attacked the Laken Riley Act. Her first big fundraising email claimed no Native woman has ever served in the Senate, which is news to Elizabeth Warren, and Scott Jennings summed the whole thing up on CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip.
