2020 - The Final Season on the Field | Larry Fitzgerald’s 17th and final NFL season came in 2020, when he caught 54 passes for 409 yards and one touchdown in 13 games. Playing through a pandemic-affected season, he continued to serve as a trusted target for Kyler Murray and a veteran leader on an emerging Cardinals team. Although his statistical output was the lowest of his career, his importance to the organization remained clear. Fitz had spent his entire professional career in Arizona, becoming synonymous with the franchise through his consistency, sportsmanship and commitment to the community. While he did not formally announce his retirement, 2020 proved to be his final season as a player, closing an extraordinary 17-year run in Cardinals red.
