Late Sunday afternoon, 107.7 The Bone learned that former “Super Producer” Sully passed away.
Sully joined the Lamont & Tonelli show in the early 90s as a “Foreign War Correspondent” during the first Persian Gulf War. Sully kept his finger on the pulse of the war live and direct from his counter at the Stop and Go in San Mateo.
Thankfully, Sully later joined the show as “Super Producer”. Listeners will never forget his many stunts including the car with no air bag or the firecrackers in the pants.
He’ll always be remembered for his famous, infectious laugh, and his easygoing nature. Our condolences go out to his family and friends. Rest in peace, Sully.
This morning Lamont & Tonelli remembered Super Producer Sully by replaying some of his best moments on the air, including the time they had Sully drive a car into a wall with no airbags.
Listen to Lamont & Tonelli Monday through Friday, 6-10am, on 107.7 The Bone in the San Francisco Bay Area.
