DEFINITIONS

Predestined - (Gk) proorizo - To determine something beforehand

Foreknow - (Gk) proginosko - Divine supernatural knowledge about the future

Convict - (Gk) elegcho - Legal term; to cross examine until one is fully convinced of the truth

Repent - (Gk) metanoeo - To turn away from one thing in order to embrace another

Baptized - To become fully immersed (in something); typically water; although can be used in reference to commitment to follow Christ

Confession - (Gk) homologia - To say the same thing; to whole-heartedly agree with what is being said

HOW DO I BECOME SAVED?

1. I must yield to the Holy Spirit's conviction, and turn toward God
2. I must believe in Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord
3. I must use my words to acknowledge Jesus as Lord, and accept Him as Savior
4. I must receive God's forgiveness and determine to follow Christ
