UNDER CONTRACT "The Anatomy of a Blood Covenant, Pt. 3"
Lakeshore Gastonia Campus Pastor: Robert Rosales
The Exchanging of Names- Often one or both parties will take part of the other's name.
Blessing and Cursing- Once vows were exchanged, blood mingled, and permanent marks initiated, the benefits of remaining in the covenant as well as the detriments of breaking the covenant were read and recorded.
Establish a Memorial- The very last thing that would be done is to establish a memorial symbol.
The Covenant Meal- Once all the commitments were made, a meal was prepared to commemorate the agreement. The 2 primary elements - bread and wine - are universally the same in most cultures.
Bread - The physical body (outside)
Wine - The blood (inside)
