Taupō artist Sally-Ann Davis joins Andrew on Lake FM to talk about the upcoming collaborative exhibition at the Taupō Museum and Gallery, opening 15 August. The exhibition brings together artists working with wood in very different ways, from Sally-Ann’s detailed woodcut prints to Angela’s creative woodturning and Jodie Appleton’s striking pyrography, drawing with fire directly onto timber. Sally-Ann also shares what goes into preparing a major exhibition and details her upcoming woodcut printing workshop on 5 September.
