In this Special Edition of The L.A. Report, we bring you the first debate between LA Mayor candidates Karen Bass and Nithya Raman since advancing to the November general election. Bass and Raman fought over top issues affecting LA, including homelessness and public safety, Wednesday night. 

The debate was hosted by Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association, or SOHA. LAist reached out to SOHA to provide the debate live on air and streaming as a public service to Angelenos.
