Today marks quite the anniversary in Philadelphia sports. Veterans Stadium was imploded 20 years ago today. The Vet was home to the Phillies and Eagles for 33 and 32 years, respectively. The Eagles won the 1980 NFC Championship at the Vet on Jan. 11, 1981. The Phils won a couple of NL Pennants. And on Oct. 21, 1980, the Phils won their first World Series.
