You will soon be able to order up to four COVID-19 tests, free of charge from the U.S. Department of Health and Human services. The tests will be available from COVIDtests.gov for home delivery later this month. The exact date has not yet been set. 

Health officials say it's a good idea to order ahead of the holidays to avoid getting COVID at a time when family and friends gather for celebrations. And, also, just to be forewarned, while most Americans have some degree of immunity from prior infections or vaccinations or both, that protection wanes.
