Earlier this week, the Middle Thorofare Bridge - which connects Wildwood Crest and Cape May - went up to let boats pass…and didn’t come back down. Officials thought it would take weeks to get the broken motor repaired, but it was up and running in a few days. KYW’s South Jersey reporter Mike Dougherty explains the whole saga and how this temporary fix saved many end-of-summer vacations.
