A group of students at Swarthmore College are camping out in the middle of campus as part of a pro-Palestinian protest like the ones that have taken over Columbia, Yale and other schools around the country.
The students are demanding that Swarthmore cut any financial ties with Israel and divest from businesses aiding in the war between Israel and Hamas.
The school says it is committed to freedom of expression, but says the encampment is deeply concerning.
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro spoke with CNN about the protests that have roiled college campuses across the country, saying that "we need to restore some order," and universities have a "responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of their students."
