Superintendent Tony Watlington tells City Council the district is planning for 20 schools to pilot year-round classes

A lot of big-name public officials will be in town today. Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to arrive later this morning and deliver the keynote speech at a convention for SEIU, a labor union that represents about 2 million people. This is Harris' fourth visit to Pennsylvania this year.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will also be at that convention. He was invited to talk about Canada's help with the union.

Officials are asking for the public’s help in locating the fourth suspect wanted in connection with the attack of an off-duty officer in North Philadelphia on May 12. They say 38-year-old Arthur Jones is wanted for aggravated assault, robbery, and firearm possession.

Officials searching for 4th suspect in connection with off-duty officer attack

According to the American Cancer Society, more than 100,600 people will be diagnosed with melanoma in the U.S. this year alone.
