Shapiro calls Trump 'bankrupt' of moral clarity and 'the least credible person when it comes to standing up against hatred and bigotry'

View descriptionShare

Gov. Josh Shapiro rejected Donald Trump's characterization of Kamala Harris' decision not to select him as her running mate as antisemitic, when a reporter asked him about it at the Democratic National Convention on Monday.

"First off, Donald Trump is the least credible person to listen to when it comes to hate and bigotry and certainly antisemitism," Shapiro said. He emphasized the importance of moral clarity in standing up against bias, discrimination and all forms of hate in the commonwealth, the country, and Democratic Party.
