Severe weather again disrupts PHL Airport, forcing passengers to wait hours for luggage

Joe Flatley was first introduced to the Eagles back in 1966, when his mom won tickets to a game at Franklin Field.

It spawned a love for the Birds that's still going strong almost six decades later, and also inspiring Flatley as he faces down the challenge of a cancer diagnosis.

Philadelphia city workers who were ordered back to the office did not get a reprieve from this morning’s internet disruption. They were told to come in, capping their first week back in the office with cleaning up the impacts. KYW Newsradio’s City Hall bureau chief Pat Loeb reports there are conflicting views about how the first week back went.

They were told to come in, capping their first week back in the office with cleaning up the impacts. How did city employees’ first full week back in office go? Depends on who you ask

The worldwide tech outage is causing issues today with some 911 systems and hospitals in the area. Penn Medicine says people with outpatient procedures or operations may receive calls or texts to reschedule. Main Line Health says elected surgical procedures have been put on hold. 911 is operational now, but for several hours this morning, operators in Bucks and Monmouth counties were working by hand because their computers were down. 

Courts are also closed today. And, there are major problems at Philly International. There are currently 150 delays and 90 cancellations at the airport. KYW Newsradio's Tim Jimenez has more from travelers who found out their flights were canceled.
