Cape May County prosecutors say an innocent bystander who was shot in Wildwood Tuesday night is in critical condition.

It happened two blocks off the boardwalk on the 3800 block of Pacific Avenue.

Police have not released any details on what led to the shooting or what time it happened.

They say the suspect has been identified but remains at large.
