The Phils start the season in Washington on March 27.  The home opener at Citizens Bank Park is set for Monday, March 31 against Colorado.

Phillies will get an extra-early jump into 2025 season

It was raining small pieces of glass earlier this week near 23rd and Arch streets in Center City. A window from an high-rise apartment building shattered and pellet sized pieces of glass fell to the ground. It's not the first time that it happened. The issue has prompted the building to file a lawsuit against the window manufacturer.

Falling glass from Center City high rise prompts lawsuit

A Good Samaritan paid the ultimate price while saving two children from drowning in South Jersey.

Authorities in Atlantic County say 49-year-old Pablo Hernandez Cruz noticed two boys, ages 8 and 12, struggling in the Great Egg Harbor River yesterday and jumped in to rescue them. He went under water right after saving the kids.

Others pulled him out. He was rushed to the hospital and later pronounced dead.
