Police have released surveillance footage of the suspect they say shot and injured an eight year old girl and two adults in Kensington this week.
It was just before 3 p.m. Thursday when Deputy Commissioner Pedro Rosario says a car trying to make a turn onto Allegheny Avenue collided with a scooter riding in a nearby center lane.
The scooter operator stood up and started shooting. Three people nearby were hit, according to police — an 8-year-old girl in a car, a 45-year-old male pedestrian, and a 47-year-old woman in another car. All three are expected to recover.
The suspect is believed to be in his thirties and is seen fleeing the scene in a gray hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
