Sources report Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign may officially announce her running mate sometime Tuesday morning.
All of this to be followed by a campaign video that will be released before their Philadelphia rally the same day.
Politico first reported the campaign's plans.
If this should happen, the announcement will come about two weeks after President Biden ended his reelection campaign, prompting the Democratic Party to quickly coalesce around the vice president.
Back in 2020, president Biden made his announcement naming Harris as his running mate by text message.
Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker, when asked about the vice president's impending choice, said she doesn’t have any inside knowledge — but she left no doubt as to her preference. KYW Newsradio's Mike DeNardo has the rest.
