Escaped murderer Danelo Cavalcante is back in police custody after an extensive 14-day search throughout Chester County that included drones, K-9s and more, Pennsylvania State Police said. Cavalcante was captured just before 8:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers' group photo with handcuffed prisoner draws criticism

The man who broke into former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's San Francisco home and attacked her husband, Paul, with a hammer is due back in court tomorrow, once again facing sentencing.

David DePape was sentenced to 30 years in prison earlier this month. The court admitted it made a mistake by not giving him an opportunity to speak at the hearing, so he'll be sentenced again tomorrow. This time, he will be asked if he wants to make a statement. He will likely receive the same sentence.
