Multiple people were killed when a car being chased by Pennsylvania State Police crashed in Delaware County. It happened near Route 322 and Chichester Avenue in Boothwyn around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Troopers have not confirmed what prompted the chase, but authorities on police radio said they were in pursuit of a red Ford Taurus with tinted windows “for a theft on Lululemon.” The dispatcher said the driver was “doing about 110 mph.”
Police said the driver did not yield to emergency lights and siren, so a pursuit began.
There were seven people in the car that crashed, but police have not said how many died.
