Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Thursday in Overbrook that left a 27-year-old man dead.

According to authorities, it was around 11:30 a.m. when the man was shot seven times in the chest on Gainor Road near its intersection with 54th Street and a block from the Wynnefield Baptist Church.
