One of America's largest Juneteenth celebrations brings 'all shades of Blackness' out to West Philadelphia

Thousands will flock to West Philly today for the annual Juneteenth Parade and Festival. It's the largest Juneteenth celebration in the nation, where people join together to have fun and embrace the history of the holiday.The parade starts at noon right near the Mann Center on 52nd Street. Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker will be the grand marshal, and she'll be joined by hundreds of other participants and at least 20 parade floats.

Celebrations continue for the rest of the day with a festival at Malcolm X Park at 52nd and Pine streets. It will feature a live concert and more than 250 street vendors.
