Former Eagles quarterback Nick Foles took the stand today at the civil trial of his close friend and former Eagles safety Chris Maragos.
Maragos is suing a Pittsburgh doctor and the Eagles medical team for allegedly botching a knee surgery that he says ended his career.
Maragos was injured during a game against the Panthers in 2017.
Attorney's for Maragoes say after the procedure doctors allowed him to do activities that they claim only made the knee worse and ultimately led to the premature retirement.
As he was leaving the court, Foles said it’s the first time he's seen a knee injury end a player's career.
