Some neighborhoods in Montgomery County woke up to robocalls and emails letting them know they were having water issues. Crews are making emergency repairs at the treatment plant that gets water to Norristown, Bridgeport, Upper Merion, Worcester, Whitpain, East Norriton, West Norriton, and Skippack townships. Pennsylvania American Water says if you live in the affected area, you may get cloudy water, low water pressure or no water at all.
If you have cloudy water, officials say to run cold water at the lowest level of your house for a few minutes until it runs clear. Pennsylvania American hopes the repairs at the plant will be done by around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
