Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer says he'll try again this week to advance the bipartisan immigration reform measure that was filibustered earlier this year as part of a foreign aid package. 

Republicans blocked the bipartisan border compromise in February at the urging of former President Donald Trump. However, Schumer says calling the vote again will show the public who is working toward solutions. 

Speaker Mike Johnson says if it should pass the Senate, the bill would be dead on arrival in the House.
