In the Northeast, a cop car was rammed into by another car when police say someone was trying to flee an incident late Saturday night.
Officials tell our partners at NBC10 at least a dozen cars were driving recklessly and doing donuts near Adams and Torresdale Avenues in the Frankford neighborhood. This happened around 10pm.
Inspector D.F. Pace told NBC10 when police tried to clear the scene, people participating were refusing to leave and even taunted some officers.
When some people were trying to get away, that's when police say one vehicle rammed into a police car. It's not clear if that was intentional.
Police say they arrested at least seven people involved in the incident.
