Amish woman dies 18 years after deadly schoolhouse shooting left her severely injured

A Lancaster County woman who was severely injured in a Amish school shooting that killed 5 girls and wounded 5 others has died 18 years later.

Rosanna King was only 6-years-old in October 2006 when gunman, 32-year-old Charles Carl Roberts the Fourth, entered the West Nickel Mines Amish schoolhouse in Bart Township, targeting only the girls, shooting them and then himself. 

At the time of Rosanna had been considered the most severely injured, surviving a shot to the head. The attack left her disabled and unable to talk. 

A funeral director saying today she died at her home this week. 

A funeral is planned at her home in the farming community of Paradise on Friday.
