Philadelphia police arrested three men and expect to charge a fourth in a retail theft operation that targeted dollar and drug stores throughout the city. Police call them the “Diaper Crew.” KYW Newsradio's Mike DeNardo reports from police headquarters.

A former New Jersey state trooper is barred from public employment after he admitted to punching a woman while she was in handcuffs. This happened in Upper Deerfield Township in 2022.

The New Jersey Attorney General's Office says 28-year-old Nicolas Hogan of Gibbstown punched a woman who was distraught while she was being detained. She was crying while cuffed in a police vehicle and spit in the direction of another trooper. Hogan yelled at her and she then spit in his direction. Hogan responded by punching her in the face.

This was all seen on body-worn camera footage. As part of the plea deal, Hogan may never hold a job in a public role again, and prosecutors will recommend at a future hearing that he serve probation after spending up to 364 days in county jail.
