Philadelphia native and creator of the award winning series "Abbott Elementary," Quinta Brunson, will receive the Excellence in the Media award from Temple University tonight.

The Temple alum is being honored with the 2024 Lew Klein Award, which is presented each year to a media visionary whose work inspires students.
