Some voters prefer to cast 'protest vote' by checking the other box

In our not too distant past, it was unclear whether President Joe Biden would seek a second term, and Republicans were lining up for a chance of becoming the party's new standard bearer, ready to deliver a real challenge to former President Donald Trump.

However, the torch would not be passed — not for Democrats, to whom America's oldest sitting president said re-electing him was the only way to keep Trump from getting back in the White House — and not for Republicans, who saw their own candidate born in the 1940s bulldoze the field without ever taking a debate stage.

And so here we are. The Pennsylvania primary might not be the barnburner some were looking forward to, but don't let that be a turn-off. There are still some sizzling contests that voters are deciding tonight. 

Republican political and public affairs consultant Christopher Nicholas and Democratic consultant Neil Oxman join us to tell us what to look for in this 2024 primary election.

There were a number of events in Philadelphia to mark UNESCO’s World Book Day on Tuesday — but no one celebrated quite like two West Philly entrepreneurs, who dropped a book on their quest to bring the art of tufting to the world. KYW's Nigel Thompson was at a bookstore in Chestnut Hill, where the release party was held.
