The Atlantic City Air Show is canceled this year.

Organizers say the main act pulled out and the show won’t go on. They say the decision wasn’t made lightly and they understand the disappointment this may cause.

The show, scheduled for next month, was previously in jeopardy of being cancelled because of funding issues but money from the state saved it, for a time.

The tradition has brings hundreds of thousands of visitors to AC each summer. The future of the event is uncertain.
