The Division III Ursinus College Bears under longtime head coach Peter Gallagher were one of many area teams sidelined in 2020 by the COVID19 pandemic. Back in 2019, the Bears went five and five, four and five in the Centennial Conference. They will open this season on Friday night, September 3rd at home in Collegeville against Alvernia.

Bob Lynch just retired after 35 years as the head coach of the men’s golf team at Saint Joseph’s University.  He is one of the most respected members of the Philadelphia golf scene and was the 2003 Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year.

Joe Trainer is the head coach of the new women's flag football program at Division III Immaculata University. Trainer has a long history in coaching. He had two stints as the defensive coordinator at Villanova University and served as head coach at Millersville and Rhode Island.
